Will the Golf Breeze Work on all carts?

Yes! The Golf Breeze is designed to run on 8 or 12 volts. Which means gas as well as 36 and 48 volt electric carts. For lithium battery carts you will need to find a 12 volt source outlet. (Check with you cart dealer for help in finding a 12 volt source.)

How do I determine the voltage of each battery in my electric cart?

Count the number of caps on each battery. Each cap equals 2 volts. 
 
3 Caps = 6 volt battery
 
4 Caps = 8 volt battery
 
6 Caps = 12 volt battery

How do you know which battery or batteries to connect The Golf Breeze to?

Accepted Answer

For gas carts, connect directly to the battery. Positive to positive and negative to negative. For electric battery carts, determine the voltage of each battery. Each cap on a battery is 2 volts. Next determine which battery is first in the series connection. The first battery is the battery that has its negative terminal (post) going to the elctric motor.
 
Battery with 4 or 6 caps: If the first battery has 4 or 6 caps, connect the negative (black) cable from the Golf Breeze to the negative post of the first battery and the positive (red) cable from the Golf Breeze to the postive post of the same battery. This will give you the needed 8 or 12 volts.
 
Battery with 3 caps: If the first battery has 3 caps, that means each battery in the cart is 6 volts. Connect the negative (black) cable from the Golf Breeze to the negative post of the first battery and the positive (red) cable from the golf breeze to the positive post of the next battery in the series. This will give you the needed 12 volts.

What happens if i connect the cables from the Golf Breeze to the wrong posts on the battery (positive cable to negative post and negative cable to the positive post)?

Accepted Answer

The Golf Breeze will run backward, air from the front and out the back instead of pullin gair from the back and out of the front (towards the passengers). Just reverse the connections so the air flow is from the back to the front.

Accepted Answer

The Golf Breeze will run extremely fast. Quickly disconnect the cables and reconnect to the correct battery or batteries. Running on more than 12 volts will damage the fans.
